“Dialogue : The art of conversation,” is an amazing collection of fine art paintings and their relationships to the “lost” art of letter writing. “Dialogue” looks to bridge the gap between written word and visual narrative through a two step creative process. Step one, asked each artist to uncover a note, letter, card, receipt, recipe, journal, autograph, quote, scribble or inscription. Step two, utilizing their found discovery, required each artist to paint their interpretation, thus complimenting its essence.
This hard bound, archival book volume features over 65 original paintings and 65 found letters representing today's most imaginative, visual story-tellers of today.
Concepted and designed by Mark Murphy, “Dialogue” is the follow up to the successful “Heaven and Hell” artist resource released in 2003.
