The "OIL" series is all about nature turning onto itself, upset that millions of years vested into creating a balanced earth has gone wildly astray as a result of granting "man" life. The delicate balance is forever out of sync and our reliance on fossil fuels will soon be at an end.
"Fossil fuels are non-renewable resources because they take millions of years to form, and reserves are being depleted much faster than new ones are being formed. Concern about fossil fuel supplies is one of the causes of regional and global conflicts."
The first "OIL" zine was featured in "Newsweek" last summer, and this year's edition compliments a quote by William Shakespeare.
"OIL" is artist signed, 20 pages, 5 ˝" x 8 ˝," full color mini zine—featuring experimental doodles, scribbles and sketches. And yes, this is an editorialized take on our shared condition.
